Queen's University - The Robert M. Buchan Dept. of Mining
The Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining at Queen`s University was founded in 1893 and has developed deep roots and traditions of mining excellence both in Canada and abroad. It has modern well-equipped laboratories, high-end computing facilities and is the only Canadian university with a major explosives test site. The Mining program consists of three distinct options with degrees at the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels, as well as continuing education courses designed to keep the industry abreast of the latest changes in technologies.

URSTM Unite de recherche et de services en technologie minerale L`URSTM est une unite d`intervention en mine de l`UQAT. L`URSTM realise des projets de recherche et offre des services specialises en environnement minier, remblayage, evaluation du potentiel mineral et traitement des minerais. URSTM is one of UQAT`s mining intervention teams. URSTM realises research projects and offers specialised support services in mining environment, backfilling applications, mineral potential evaluation and processing.
